Love, sex, dead bodies…have we hooked you yet?  If we haven’t how about I throw in some good old fashioned movie discussion about the oldest profession?  Because Chloe Grace Moretz may, or may not, play a hooker in The Equalizer (in theaters tomorrow) we list our five favorites featuring ladies and gentlemen of the night.

Thanks to The Champions of All Time for the theme music.  It comes from the song “Home” off the CD/DVD Bridges Burned/Lessons Learned.  Also check out the new release from former TCOAT frontman and current Movies on Up Continuity Policeman, Jason West here.

And a BIG thanks to Morgan Jim Cole for our fly, new logo.

Morgan, I still like our old fly logo.  One is silver, the other gold.

Fall is upon us and ’round Movies on Up parts, that means we’re gearing up for some Filmball!  Fantasy Filmball’s third season is quickly approaching so we decided to take a look at some of our favorite fantasy movies.  I’m sure Movies on Up lists are at the top of thing you all fantasize about and you’re in luck; this week I took a very liberal definition of fantasy films.  Enjoy Dave following instructions and I will make him wish he hadn’t.

To paraphrase the great Harold Melvin, if you don’t know him by now, he’s Ben Whishaw and he’ll be all up in your grill this fall/winter.  In what you might ask, how about The Zero Theorem and Lilting amongst others.  Listen up for a more in-depth preview of what’s hitting theaters throughout the rest of 2014.
