Cast and the Furious

“Favorite” Movies Starring Cast Members from Furious I-VII

Vin Diesel, Paul Walker and the crew ride one last time this weekend as Furious 7 hits the big screen.  As Dave and I have yet to see a Fast and/or Furious movie, we have decided to feature movies featuring some of the fast ones.  I won’t go so far as to call them favorite movies, you’ll get the drift.  (See what I did there?)

Favorite Movies Black and White Movies

Kevin Hart and Will Ferrell hit the screen this weekend with their new comedy, Get Hard.  We thought we’d get cleaver by listing off our favorite black and white movies.  Purely coincidence.

McDonagh, Bros.

Favorite Movies Starring Irish Actors

Like St. Patrick once did something great that prompted the good people of Ireland to dedicate a holiday to him, Dave and I do our best to get McDonagh Brothers Day recognized as an official holiday.  As it so happens, our favorite movies starring Irish actors seem to be made by some of our favorite English directors, the McDonaghs.

Discussion Episode:  Teeth

With another Friday the 13th coming this week, it follow that we might have a bit of a horror slant to this week’s episode.  Friday, David Robert Mitchell’s It Follows hits theaters bringing to mind another one of our favorite teen-coming-of-age-sexual-horror flicks, Teeth.  Brace yourself for some Movies on Up commentary on the 2007 Jess Wexler jam.

Sneaky Hotness

Favorite Sigourney Weaver Movies

This week, the queen (see what I did there) makes her return to sci-fi as Sigourney Weaver makes an appearance in Neill Blomkamp’s Chappie.  Celebrate the three time Academy Award nominee’s greatness (and sneaky hotness) with a list of our favorite flicks starring the Gatekeeper.  Xenomorphs and ghosts need not apply.
