The Best There is at What He Do

Discussion Episode:  X-Men

Hugh Jackman’s “last” appearance as Wolverine hits theaters this weekend in James Mangold’s Logan.  What better way to celebrate Canada’s best export than to take a look back at Jackman’s first flick with the claws: Brian Singer’s X-Men.

Evening of Stars

Discussion Episode:  The 89th Academy Awards

Because it’s the Super Bowl of movies, we’ll all watch the 89th Annual Academy Awards.  In case you don’t want to stay up to the end, Dave and I weigh in on the winners and losers of the event-including the Academy themselves!

Team America

Discussion Episode:  American Abroad Action Movies

We need Matt Damon on that wall this weekend in Yimou Zhang’s appropriately titled The Great Wall.  Despite looking cool, Dave and I can’t say we really know much about this project other than it’s America’s sweetheart Matt Damon kicking ass on foreign soil.  So that got Dave to thinking of other times America has regulated on foreign countries, and boy are you in for a smorgasbord with this list.

This Episode is Awesome

Discussion Episode:  The Lego Movie

Hoping to build on the momentum from 2014’s The Lego Movie, Chris McKay’s The Lego Batman Movie swings into theaters this weekend.  While it would have been fun to do a 50 Shades or John Wick episode, we thought we’d take the movie where nobody gets shot in the face.  Have a great Taco Tuesday!
